Choosing a Template Layout

Written by Posted in Services

You're ready to build a new website (or a new template for an existing website), and you know what features you need and what content you will display. Now, it's time to think about how you will present your information. The following images will show you some typical presentations of web pages and the page locations.

Templates for Joomla!, WordPress, and other Open Source CMS applications from C&J Enterprises here at CJEweb give you enough module locations to plant your content exactly where and how on the page you desire.

You will need to decide if you want a header, and whether it should come above or below the horizontal navigational bar.

Most sites have one or two vertical columns, usually called left and right (though they could both be on the right side of the page).

Template Module Locations

The sample templates you see on our template demo site include far more modules and module stylings than you will likely use on your own web site. They are done that way to give you an idea of the different possibilities available in each template. Our custom templates give you exactly what you need, where you need it

Our templates have just enough module locations to let you lay out anything you might need and not so many that it's all cluttered up and over-done.
